Our team continues working on the P.E Ribera de Navarra wind park, finalising the installation of the medium voltage grids, while minimising the landscape and environmental impact of the park with landscape restoration actions.
Located in the province of Navarra, Spain, the Ribera de Navarra wind farm consists of four sub-parks – Montecillo, Volandin, Mill Yard I and Mill Yard II
With a total of 24 wind turbines, the total capacity of these units is 139.2 MW, which represents a new contribution of renewable and locally produced wind energy to the generation matrix of the Navarre region.
The high complexity associated with a project close to irrigation services, water transport and other agricultural infrastructures in the area, have highlighted this project as a benchmark for the project management model, resource management and affected services. GROUP IGE, has applied a close and professional management to minimise the impact caused during the execution of the park to all the farmers and neighbours surrounding it.
Thanks to the great effort being made by the industry and families of Navarre to carry out an exemplary transition to renewable energies, over the coming years this community will be a major player in the portfolio of projects executed by GROUP IGE in the Iberian Peninsula.
